My Brush with a Rogers Corporate Plan Redux

Rogers Public Sector Corporate Plan Flyer

Pursuant to my post from last Friday, I’ve received some updated info regarding Rogers’ corporate plans for public sector employees. Note that forums member androidic has already posted these plans in the Rogers forum—really, the only difference between that post and mine is that I’ve a pretty picture, direct from the source.

Here’s a copy/paste of an email from a corporate sales rep at Rogers:

Thanks for inquiring about the Rogers cellular program for public sector employees.

The first time I learned of this public sector corporate plan was in Q3 of 2013; back then there was only one option: a $20/month plan with an option to add 5GB of data for another $30—or in other words, a gigabyte of data was worth six bucks. Remember those days?

Anyway, in one of the replies to my September 2013 post forums member IDEA_NXT noted that TELUS corporate plans would be falling in line with Canada’s Wireless Code by raising their rates to $70/month, and predicted that Rogers would be doing the same. And they did.
